Random Thoughts about Time... ![]() Did you know, one year on earth is only two minutes on GOD’s time? Life is short… Our lives are just a matter of minutes on GOD’s time line so we must use it wisely. Time will come when we shall give account for all the things we did while we were living in this world. Here is an interesting thought comparing man's time line with God's time line. It will help put things in perspective: ![]() Only 1 second = 5 days According to the Bible, one-thousand years here on earth is only 1 day (2 Peter 3:8) in the eyes of the LORD. If you break it up you see that 5 days on earth is equal to GOD’s one second. ![]() MAN’s Time Line vs GOD’S Time Line 1000 yrs = 1day 500 yrs = 12 hrs 250 yrs = 6 hrs 125 yrs =3 hrs 62 yrs & 6 mos = 1hr & 30mins 31 yrs & 3 mos = 45 mins ![]() Does this describe you?1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave. 2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards for years. 3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of three. 4. You email the person who sits at a desk next you. 5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have email addresses. 6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries. 7. Every commercial on television has a website at the bottom of the screen. 8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 50) years of your life, is now a cause for panic, and you turn around to get it. 10. You get up in the morning and go online before getting your coffee. 11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile :-) 12. You're reading this and nodding and laughing. 13. Even worse, you were too rushed to notice there was no #9 on this list. 14. You actually went back up to check that there wasn't a #9 on this list, and now U R LOL! ![]() ...If it were as common a thing for them to throw away their money, as it is for them to throw away their time, we should think them beside themselves, and not in the possession of their right minds. Yet time is a thousand times more precious than money; and when it is gone, cannot be purchased with money and cannot be redeemed by silver or gold.
